Using TermOwl

TermOwl is a study planner for college students 18 and over. Use it for your own coursework.
Keep your sign-in private, and don't try to break, overload or get around the site.
You own what you put in. You let us store and process it only to run TermOwl for you.
Only upload material you're allowed to use for studying.

Estimates are estimates

TermOwl's time estimates, start dates and study material (including anything written by AI) are helpers, not promises. They can be wrong. Check your syllabus and Canvas for what's due and when, and check study material against your course.

Plus and payments

The planner is free. Plus is optional: $3.99 a month (renews until you cancel) or $9.99 for a semester (one payment, doesn't renew).
Cancel any time on the Account page under "Manage billing or cancel". You keep Plus until the end of what you've paid for.
Refunds: if something went wrong with a payment, email us within 14 days and we'll make it right.
Payments are handled by Stripe.

Our side

We work hard to keep TermOwl running and your data safe, but it is provided as it is, with no guarantee it will always be available or error-free.
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for lost grades, missed deadlines or other losses from using the site. Rights the law doesn't let anyone waive stay as they are.
We may change or stop features, and may close accounts that break these terms.

Not Canvas

TermOwl is independent and is not made by or affiliated with Instructure or Canvas.
